I survived an abusive relationship that tried to silence me, shrink me, and erase me. But I didn’t stay silent. I didn’t stay small. I didn’t disappear, and much to his and his affair partner’s dismay…I didn’t die. Instead, I took every bitter piece of that experience and turned it into something bold, something beautiful, something real, something SWEET.

Chocolate Lemons is a Brand I had originally intended for a T-shirt Line. I came up with the idea years ago when I put on lemon flavored lipgloss and proceeded to eat a piece of chocolate and it tasted like chocolate lemons. Thus, Chocolate Lemons was born. I immediately purchased the domain knowing that one day it would become something amazing.

It’s not just a brand anymore— it’s a reclaiming.
A reclaiming of my voice.
A reclaiming of my power.
A reclaiming of the story someone else tried to rewrite.
